OZUMO San Francisco
Texture, filtered light, and naturally imperfect materials make up the foundation to support the cuisine at one of San Francisco's most revered Japanese restaurants.
Ozumo Walnut Wall Feature was inspired by the intricate geometrical stone walls of the ancient Inca and Japanse feudal castles. This wall was fabricated from large Claro Walnut slabs and handcut to interlock.
The Bar Chandelier at Ozumo uses lit Sake bottles to paint onto the rice paper skin. The graphic play of shade and shadow changes throughout the day as the sun sets.
