Kanbayashi Design studios was contracted to design and build in numerous projects over six years at the Mountain Home Road Property of Larry Ellison in Woodside, CA. His vision for this property was inspired by Katsura Rikyu, the 17th century Imperial Villa in Kyoto, with all construction in traditional hand cut method, using complex joints to tie all wood parts together.
